We are looking for a new canteen employee for Volkshotel. This means that you ensure that all your colleagues and Broedplaats tenants can join you for lunch during their shift to recharge before they go back to work. This is what your day looks like:

You work in the canteen of Volkshotel, where your colleagues and the tenants of the Broedplaats come to have lunch. The atmosphere in Volkshotel is free and informal, so you don't have to change clothes. Once inside, you will prepare the lunch buffet, adhere to the occupational health and safety regulations (HACCP) and you can have a chat with your colleagues. You have an overview of the rooms and keep them tidy.

Would you like to hang around after your shift? Sure! Take a dip in our hot tubs and sauna on the eighth floor. You can use this for free. Not home yet? That's not necessary, as an employee you get a discount on everything in the hotel.

What do we offer:

This concerns an on-call contract for 16 hours, spread over 3 days a week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be your working days. Salary is in accordance with the catering collective labor agreement and in accordance with your responsibilities. As an employee of Volkshotel you can stay at the hotel for free every year. You can also count on the following: an extra day of holiday, discount on everything in the building, fun drinks and the Volks Birthday Party every year.
