Your day will look like this: 

Before your shift, you can stretch and warm up as you wish. All staff members are welcome to join Volkshotel’s free yoga classes. Then you clock in and start your shift. The atmosphere in Werkplaats is casual and informal, so there’s no need to change into a uniform. You’ll be working on the floor and handling the daily tasks of the café. You’ll monitor the quality of our service and products, comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP), and be the first point of contact for guests. You’ll keep an eye on the spaces and ensure they stay tidy. During events, you’ll make sure the rooms are set up to perfection, assist guests during the event, and clean up afterward. You’ll be the face of Volkshotel, ensuring that every event runs smoothly. In addition to corporate events, you’ll also help with our own events taking place throughout the hotel, such as Short Movie Sunday, Live Resort, and a cozy market every two months in our Co-Working space. No day is the same, and you’ll always be part of a dynamic and creative team. Want to hang out after your shift? Feel free! You can take a dip in our hot tubs and sauna on the 8th floor, free of charge. Not heading home yet? No problem, employees enjoy discounts on everything (programming, rooms, food, and drinks) in the hotel.

What we offer: 

This is an on-call employment with a minimum of 2 shifts (16 hours) per week. The salary is in line with the hospitality sector CAO and your responsibilities. As an employee at Volkshotel, you get to stay in the hotel for free once a year.
