Do you have an eye for detail, are you able to work irregular hours and is tidiness your second nature? Then you might be the houseman we’re looking for. As houseman you ensure that the linen logistics and the cleanliness of hotel floors are completed daily. Furthermore you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of Volkshotel, including public areas and back-of-house areas.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitizing public areas

• Restocking (linen) supplies

• Assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties

• Responding to guest requests in a timely and professional manner

• Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate team member

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, and possesses excellent communication skills and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, and able to work well in a team.

What do we offer?

We are looking for parttime candidates. Salary based on Horeca CAO (scale 3 €2252,64- €2433,92 per month) and a contract direct through Volkshotel. As an employee of Volkshotel you can stay at the hotel one night per year for free. In addition, you will have the following benefits: an additional vacation day, discounts on any activities in the building and the annual Volks-anniversary party.
